Do I need referrals with my plan?
If you have an HMO plan in Florida, Illinois, or Texas, you will need referrals. For all other plans? No referrals needed.
For plans that do require referrals, check the lists below to see when you need them. If you have an HMO plan and an Advocate Physician Partners (APP) primary care provider, APP will manage your referrals.
