Devoted Health brings new Medicare Advantage plans to older Americans across the country

Devoted Health expanding to 99 new counties across 13 states in 2024

[WALTHAM, MA, October 1, 2023] — Devoted Health -- an all-in-one healthcare company for Medicare beneficiaries, delivering health insurance, access to high-quality medical care, and a world-class service experience -- today announced that it is expanding where it is enrolling members to cover 99 counties across 13 states during the current Medicare Annual Enrollment Period that begins on October 15. Coverage for new enrollees will begin on January 1, 2024.

“Just last year, we expanded from enrolling seniors from five states to 13,” said Ed Park, CEO and Co-Founder of Devoted Health. “This year, we are moving from these initial metro areas to bring our all-in-one healthcare to more Medicare beneficiaries in these states so they get the benefits they will actually use and savings that they will actually get -- all on the way to better health.”

Founded in 2017 by brothers Todd and Ed Park, Devoted Health is a new kind of healthcare company providing all-in-one care for older Americans. Members of the company’s best-in-class insurance plans are able to receive care through their trusted PCP and complementary preventative care services through Devoted Medical, the first virtual and in-home medical group built from the ground up to serve the specific needs of the Medicare population. The Devoted Medical team of mission-oriented clinicians works closely with members’ primary care physicians and Devoted’s full-service Guides to deliver a new model of advanced primary care, powered by deeply specialized clinical programs and proprietary technology that enables intensive care coordination.

Devoted’s programs generate both high member satisfaction and improved clinical outcomes. At least 85 percent of Devoted members with diabetes have their blood sugar levels under control, at least 77 percent of members with hypertension have their blood pressure under control, and at least 90 percent of members with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and/or diabetes took their medications as directed, compared to a national estimated average of 50 percent.

Devoted Health offers Medicare Advantage plans in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas — which encompasses 28.3 percent of the total Medicare Advantage population, up from 25 percent in 2023.
